With Romo cutting his salary, the Cowboys can make some big deals with major players. And one is Adrian Peterson from the Vikings. He wants $12.75 million salary in the 2015 season. With more salary cap room, they might have a chance to get him. And when Murry left to sign with the Eagles, our running game went downhill. But with Peterson in mind, just think what he can do with the best offensive line in the NFL. We'll be unstoppable and have a heck of a season. He has 2,054 rushing attempts, 10,190 yards, and 86 TDs. Compared to Murry who got 4,526 yards. But Peterson has been in longer. He can do way better with this O-line. With a $12.8 million salary cap space open, why not take the risk and get Peterson. He might be the deal of a lifetime.
He might be the man to take the Cowboys to Super Bowl. Just think what he can do for them, what other choice do the "BOYS" have. But with the draft coming up, they need $1.7 million for their rookie pool. When they signed McClain for about $1 million, this gave them some room for their 7 draft picks. But Romo's restructured contract, it might not be enough to get him. With Hardy signing for $8.09 million, this could not be enough to make more room. But if Hardy is suspended, the Cowboys get cap credit that can be of use for 2016. Dallas we'll need about $3 million to have enough room to get Peterson on top of McClain signing. This needs more than Romo's restructured contract to make this work, so either drop some players or start reconstructing more players contracts. If Romo gives up at least $2-$3 million, this deal could work with Peterson. With more free agents still need a team, Dallas can drop more players that have not proved themselves to be on the team. And I know for sure Jerry wants a player who can make him a lot of money. And I don't see McFadden being a big as a player like Peterson, so drop him instead. He is not worth it and McFadden played for Arkansas in college, and that's where Jerry Jones went. So do you think Jerry choose him , because he went to the same college. And Peterson is 10 times better than McFadden. To say this, McFadden will be no where close to Murry ever was, and never beat Peterson. I think Dallas should drop McGadden and get more salary cap room to get Peterson. It's all worth it to take the risk on a well known player in the NFL. With that being said, Jerry Jones listen up, do the fans a favor. Get a player who can get it done or stick with your favorite college All-Star. Take the risk, and see how he'll change this franchise forever by leading them to their 6th Super Bowl win.
