Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman, Josh Brent announced his retirement from the NFL. He had a 10 game suspension because of a DUI back in 2012, after killing teammate Jerry Brown in a car crash. He only played one game last year and participated in the Cowboy's offseason programs last month. This is the second time he retired from the NFL. The first time was before training camp in 2013 while waiting trial for the death of Jerry Brown. The court imposed a 10-year prison term in early 2014 was suspended and only served six months. I believe he should of not be allowed to come back after what he did in 2012. And a DUI looks bad on someone's resume. Jason Garrett stated that Jsoh should retire at this point, in order to get his life back together. And he admires him for trying to recover from this situation he is going through. Defensive tackle Nick Hayden said, " I was a little surprised by it....but he's got to do what's right for him, so I wish him well and just hope the best for him." This decision by Brent is for the best and he can try to play again when he is ready for it.
